What is the cost of Lasik eye surgery? Does it change from state to state or from doctor to doctor? I really want to know since I’ve been thinking about getting the surgery done for years, but I need to know the cost of Lasik. I would look it up on the Internet, but I don’t have Internet access anymore. I get my access through Comcast Cable and I haven’t been able to pay my cable bill for a few months and they shut off my Internet as well. I don’t know anyone that’s ever gotten Lasik eye surgery before and so I have no one that I can ask about it. I know that I can’t pay for it now, not with my job as a bookseller at a bookstore. In fact, I can barely pay my rent, my car insurance, and my cell phone bill every month as it is. I’m struggling to get by, no doubt, but I’m still saving up to get this Lasik surgery some day in the future, even if it’s years from now. I’ve been far-sighted for years. I have to wear these eyeglasses when I’m reading anything. I used to have contacts, but putting them in made my skin crawl. Once I get the surgery done, I won’t have to worry about any of that anymore.
