RESEARCH HAIR
The first place to start with trying to restore hair is with hair loss medication. It's the easiest thing to try to do, and the least costly. When I started to really loose my hair last Fall, Tara began to research hair. She can now be considered a hair expert. She knows more about hair now than anybody I know. She spent hours researching hair, and even went to wig stores to talk about hair. Why she did that, I'm not sure. She never said. The result was, that I had to sit and watch a power point presentation on hair. I know it seems like overkill and overdrive, but that is how Tara is. She grabs something and tackles it and never lets it go, until she finds the answer she is looking for, or the problem is solved. In my case, the problem — hair loss– was getting worse. I was kind of resolved to it, figuring it was caused by stress and age. Tara was not so sure. She insisted I got to the doctor, and I did, and I was fine. I said it must be my genes. Once again, Tara pointed out that my father had a full head of hair into his seventies. My mother's side of the family all has hair. Okay, I said, maybe Telly Savalas is really my father. She laughed at that.
